The Bends support the My Future Niagara Summit!
The Bends are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to show
their support for NEXTNiagara by performing at the My Future Niagara Summit back in October in Niagara Falls.
After their performance, the boys, minus Dave, attended the keynote presentation by CBC’s Jian Ghomeshi and then met to talk music!
The Bends would like to thank Ron Sexsmith for taking time, prior to his performance at the Centre for the Arts at Brock University last October, to meet with Kurt, talk music and sign some CDs. And for playing, “Michael and His Dad” during the encore. “Thank you, Ron!”
The Bends performed a high energy set to hundreds of people
at last year’s Niagara Wine Festival.

S.C.E.N.E. People’s Choice 2011
At a press conference held at Hernder Estate Wineries, Niagara Wine Festival officials announced that The Bends were the winners of the S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival People’s Choice award and would perform at the 2011 Niagara Wine Festival.
